
Laurieann DeFillipo, Aide to the Grand Marshal 2015
Laurieann DeFilippo is the first born of three children to Rosemary and Salvatore. Laurieann was born in the Bronx and moved to Baldwin, Long Island, where her family were parishioners of Queen of The Most Holy Rosary Church for 32 years. Laurieann was a very active part of that parish’s Outreach and the Folk Group as a youngster. As an adult she became a lector, Euchcharist Minster and a member of the Bible study group.
She attended Baldwin High School and became a member of the Baldwin Fire Department Youth. After a year of attending Farmingdale College Laurieann decided it was time to go into the work force. She now is works for Orlin and Cohen Orthopedic Associates in Massapequa.
Lauriann and her sister, Jennifer, moved to Glen Cove where she became a member of St Patrick’s Parish, where she has worked at the feast and as a CCD teacher. In 2009 she joined the LAOH and is now serving as the Vice President for the 2015 year.
She enjoys spending time with her family and loves the time she spends with her niece Isabella and her nephew Giovanni, Laurieann also is a godmother to two wonderful boys Rocco and Dominic.
